The International Fair of Technics and Technical Achievements is on the verge of its 66th edition. This oldest and most prestigious specialized regional developmental technical-technological fair event, an integrator and pillar of economic cooperation in the field of technology, technical-technological achievements, and innovations on a broader international level and an undisputed international leader in these areas, will be held from May 21 to May 24, 2024, in more than 15,000 square meters of exhibition space in halls 1, 1A, 2A, 2B, 2C, 3, and 3A, and also in the outdoor area of the Belgrade Fair.
Under the slogan “We Inspire Progress” participation has been confirmed by as many as 600 exhibitors, including about 250 foreign exhibitors from 32 countries worldwide. Group presentations, organized by the respective chambers of commerce, will be held by Bosnia and Herzegovina (Republika Srpska), Czech Republic, China, Hungary, Slovenia and Serbia.
The intention of the Technical Fair is to present to the greatest possible extent products and technological achievements in globally trending areas such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, automation and robotics, IoT, 5G networks, blockchain technologies, augmented and virtual reality, nanotechnologies, clean energy, drones, as well as numerous areas within telecommunications, information technology, medical devices, energy, transportation, and construction.
The latest achievements in technologies and innovations, especially in the field of Industry 4.0 and 5.0, as synonyms for automation and complete digitalization of all production processes and business networking, based on innovative industrial technologies that represent a revolution in interaction with the digital world – are already a standard feature of the fair exhibitions.
Representative as usual, will be the “classics” and product groups such as CNC machines, machine tools, processing centers, tools and accessories for metal processing and shaping, electronics, measuring equipment and devices, process technology, hydraulics and pneumatics, additive, 3D, and laser technologies, metallurgy and foundry, welding technologies, electrical energy, lighting and LED technologies, thermal engineering and HVAC, green industry, logistics, storage, industrial packaging, industrial and cyber security and protection.
Innovations, as the foundation and cornerstone of modern global society, are also the centerpiece of this year’s Technical Fair. There are about a hundred of them registered, mostly in areas encompassing industries 4.0 and 5.0, 3D technologies, robotics, CNC machines, laser technologies, plastic processing, automation of production processes, measuring instruments, tools… Approximately half of the registered innovations still come from domestic companies.
The cathedral of the innovation segment of the Technical Fair will be the Government of the Republic of Serbia, whose five ministries will organize an exhibition of innovations and new technologies under the title “Play for Humanity! Science for All.” The country being the guest of honour of this exhibition is China, with as many as 22 institutions and companies presenting their new technologies and innovations.
Under the patronage of the Serbian Government, the fair will also be attended by more than 50 science and technology parks, higher education and scientific research institutions and organizations, companies, associations who will contribute to technical and technological development in various scientific and trade sectors. Another dozen participants from the educational or developmental sectors will participate independently.
A highly qualified jury will award traditional prizes and recognitions “Step into the Future” to the most successful exhibitors and other participants.
As a business-oriented event, the Technical Fair is also supported by a fair web portal, which enables registered business visitors and exhibitors to easily schedule automated bilateral B2B business meetings, networking, and review of business profiles.
The fair will be open from 10 am to 6 pm.
Individual tickets will cost 500 dinars; group tickets 300 dinars; tickets for elementary and high school students and university students (with a student ID or index) 100 dinars; tickets for visitors registered through the B2B portal 350 dinars; a business pass (valid for all days of the fair and providing additional benefits) will cost 3000 dinars. Parking for passenger cars in the area of the Belgrade Fair will be charged at 150 dinars per hour.
